If you are already getting few hits from Google organic search, this tip will help to improvise on that traffic and improve your blogs Google Authority. SEO is very important to get more traffic from Google, but it takes lot of time to learn and implement SEO techniques. If you are finding it hard to get external links to your site then optimizing on-site and on page SEO is the way to go.
On site SEO
- Find the page/content that gets traffic from google organic search ( Lets say Page A)
- Find the keywords combination that is driving that traffic
- Create more contents (3-5 articles) based on the same keyword.
- Use that keyword in the anchor text to link to Page A
When google bot crawls your site, Page A will have more links pointing to it. This will naturally increase your sites Google authority for that keyword.
Even though couple of my sites have toolbar rank less than 2, it ranks well in (first 2 listing) in Google for atleast 10 keywords. I’m not a blogging expert, but this technique works for me and I’m improvsing on that.
