How to Hang Artwork Using Dry Wall Anchors

We got few artwork, pictures with frame. I was very reluctant to hammer nail in the dry wall. But, figured out all the home has some kind of pictures in the wall. So, there should be some easy way to hang pictures in dry wall.

I did some research  went to Lowes and spent 1 hour in the hardware nails and screws section. They had many varieties of screws. I figured out wall anchors is based on type of material on which anchors will be used.  Example surfaces – dry wall, metal, concrete surface, ..

But, before I went to Lowes, I watched few Do It Yourself Videos and it was very helpful. I had always thought, nail or screw should be hammered only at places where stud is located behind the wall. I used stud finder to hang mirrors. But, finding studs in living room will not suit the location of the art work.

I spent total of 1 hour in research to find the right way to hang and here’s an interesting video I found useful.

I purchased Buildex and it just took less than 1 hour to hang all the artworks and pictures in the wall. It takes 2 minutes to drill the screw into the wall and 10 minute take measurements and less than 5 minutes to hang the adjust the pictures. Bingo! My home got new looks.

So, using dry wall anchor was easy and I have few more wall hangings, I will have to go to Lowes agaib to buy few more dry wall anchors. It costs less than $2 for 6 wall anchors.
